A botanical garden initiatives focus on conservation by preserving native plants and promoting sustainability. It offers educational programs, supports research on plant diversity and engages the community with tree-planting initiatives, and explores green business initiatives such as plant nurseries, organic markets, and botanical products to ensure sustainability and environmental awareness.

During the visit, the delegation observed the remarkable efforts underway to rehabilitate indigenous plant species and advance environmental education programs.
The minister underscored the critical role of such projects in addressing climate challenges and safeguarding Somaliland’s ecological heritage.
